Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish is an all purpose Acrylic paint medium that will enhance the depth of colour intensity, increase transparency, gloss, ease flow of paint and add flexibility and adhesion of paint film.  Dries to a non-tacky, hard, flexible surface that is resistant to dirt retention and depending on the substrate, will allow moisture to pass through.  Will not crack as surface expands and contracts.

It can be used as an extender to extend paint volume and decrease acrylic paint viscosity while increasing transparency.  Can be used as an isolation layer before final varnishing, as a fixative over artwork when added to an atomiser or airbrush; as an adhesive for collage etc; as a binder with powdered pigments and as a final permanent varnish over dry acrylic paintings.
