1. About These Terms
This website (artrepublic.com.au) is owned and operated by Bentley Philippe Pty Ltd (ABN: 88 144 741 917). References to “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to Art Republic; “you” or “your” refers to our customers.

These Terms and Conditions, along with your Order, form the full agreement between Art Republic and the customer. No variation to this agreement is valid unless confirmed in writing or via email.

2. Australian Sales
We ship within Australia. International orders (including New Zealand) will incur additional shipping costs, which will be confirmed before payment is processed.

3. Legal Capacity to Transact
By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If a transaction is made by a minor resulting in loss or damage, we reserve the right to seek compensation from the parent or guardian responsible.

4. Payment Methods & Processing
We accept the following payment methods:
• PayPal
• Visa
• MasterCard

Orders placed on weekends or Victorian public holidays will be processed within 24 to 48 hours of the next business day.

PayPal Refunds: If you request a refund after placing an order, any PayPal transaction fees will not be reimbursed by Art Republic, as PayPal does not refund these. You may contact PayPal directly for fee-related inquiries.

Just a heads-up about PayPal’s “Pay in 4”!
We currently don’t support PayPal’s “Pay in 4” (also known as PayPal 4x4) as a payment option. If you select Pay in 4 when redirected to PayPal, your order won’t be approved by PayPal and unfortunately, it won’t go through even if PayPal temporarily deducts a sum from your account.
If this happens, please reach out directly to PayPal to arrange a refund.

5. Delivery Timelines
Delivery estimates are provided during checkout and apply to business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Most parcels are delivered within 2 to 14 working days following payment.
We strive to meet delivery timelines, though delays may occur due to supply chain changes or circumstances outside our control.

If your order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us.

6. Warranty Policy
We aim to provide quality products with applicable warranty support.
Warranty coverage applies only within Australia and excludes consumable components. All claims are assessed in conjunction with our wholesalers.

Please note:
• Warranty claims will result in item replacement (not refunds or exchanges).
• Approval is at Art Republic’s discretion.

Refunds Policy

PLEASE NOTE: Clearance items and sales stock are non-refundable and non-returnable.

If you wish to return an item or have questions, please reach out to our friendly team — we're happy to assist.

Refund & Return Conditions:

• Damaged items will be replaced once returned to us. Damage caused by Australia Post must be addressed directly with them.
• Change of mind refunds will not be issued.
• Opened items or those not in original condition are not eligible for a refund.
• Refund requests must be made within 3 days of delivery.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable.

GST

All prices, fees, and charges listed by Art Republic include GST as required under Australian law.

Our Liability

Art Republic, including its subsidiaries and affiliates, accepts no liability for any type of damages — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Economic loss
• Data loss
• Loss of enjoyment
• Loss of business profits

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delivery delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including:
• War or civil disturbances
• Strikes or lockouts
• Fire or natural disasters
• Any unforeseeable external events

Payment Security

When creating an account or placing an order, a secure server encrypts your details using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

While we take security seriously, we do not guarantee the strength of encryption or accept responsibility for unauthorised access.

Important:
• Art Republic does not store your banking details.
• All payments are processed securely via National Australia Bank (NAB) and Art Republic does not have access to your financial information.
